Wedding Party

We are pleased to introduce you to the wedding party.

Bridesmaids
(in alphabetical order)

Andrea
Met through kickball. Bonded because both of our teams were awful. Once got so lost hiking we ended up ten miles from the hiking trail. Used to be partners in early morning gym classes and late night adventures before Andrea left me for Florida. Survivor of a dangerous Easter brunch with Jessica M.

Cari
Met at Duke Law. I emailed Cari to ask regarding an assignment because I had her name confused with the pregnant girl in the class who I thought would be the nicest. When together, we tend to go to wrong airports, travel to very random destinations, find the best nightlife, hire firetrucks for photos, take Uber tours of cities, eat a lot of lox, and meet famous athletes who I never recognize. First to introduce me to amazing things like sports, burrata, and matcha drinks.

Carrie
Met in high school. Gets the award for being friends with me the longest out of the bridesmaids. Initially became close when we got stuck in traffic together in Parole, MD going to Ocean City for senior week. Fondest memories include the ruckus in London, Dewey trips, the shady hostels during travels abroad, the air at Mother’s, swans, the hot air balloon, and getting robbed in Spain three times in a three day period.

Cassandra
Met through friends in DC. Almost birthday twins. Favorite friend for food adventures. Go to person for all life advice. My biggest competitor in awesome dance moves. Best Snooki impersonator of all time. Favorite memories involve the epic double birthday parties we’ve had for years.

Jessica M.
Met through Andrea. Hostess with the mostest and provider of brie cheese when there is a shortage. Favorite memory is “singing” karaoke to “Party in the USA” in DC. Go to person for all things Bravo and Netflix. The voice of reason in my life. Survivor of a dangerous Easter brunch with Andrea. Best planner and organizer. Bakes delicious desserts for all my birthdays. Helped Justin plan part of the proposal surprise.

Jessica S.
Tulane law roommate. Member of the Triple Threat with Sarah. Collected Bacardi bottles in law school for no reason. Once called the fire department on a neighbor mistakingly believing that they smelled a gas leak. The neighbor was simply making pottery and was not pleased. Ate a lot of cheese fries together while making up their own news stories and then spreading them around campus. Has been instrumental in helping with wedding-related events and hosting us in NOLA.

Lauren
Met through a friend while living at McHenry Row. Daily winner of funniest texts to keep me (and Jessica M.) alive during the week. My favorite activity is to text Lauren daily to complain about planning a wedding during a pandemic (or send her memes), as she is also planning her wedding during a pandemic. Really cherish our annual holiday dinners together and adventures all around Baltimore. Love forcing Lauren to take photos with me. I am hopeful that one day Lauren will share her baked ziti recipe with me.

Monica
Met through friends at a Halloween party in 2007. Reunited in 2013. Too many selfies and adventures later, Monica has managed to take some of the most important photos of me and Justin during our relationship. She also took the romper picture, which caused Justin to swipe right on me on Bumble. Thanks Monica. Go to person for all spontaneous things. Fun fact: Monica and I almost burned down her apartment because neither of us knew how to operate the oven.

Sarah
Met at Tulane Law thanks to my first year roommate. Member of the Triple Threat with Jessica S. Was the third quasi-roommate of the Carondelet Street “hotel.” Enjoy romantic French dinners together and traveling to celebrate Jessica S.’s husband on his birthday. Go to for beauty and wedding planning advice.

ST
Met in DC through Carrie. Usually the last person standing at any after party. Favorite memories include us almost being blacklisted by a pizza place for trying to pay in quarters, saving ST from a door handle, attempting to become elected officials in the Cayman Islands, and horrifying guests with a dance and song routine in Costa Rica. Biggest mystery in life remains how ST’s favorite vegetable, the onion, ended up in my purse after a beach trip.
